Epoxcure L15 is a two-component epoxy coating system developed for repairing and renovating drains and sewage pipes, suitable for impregnation of liners/hoses and can be cured at both ambient and high temperatures.

Composition

Epoxcure L15 resin consists of two liquid components:

  • A component: epoxy containing blend
  • B component: amine containing blend with special odor

Application

Curing conditions

Curing time of impregnated liner until reduction in installation pressure

Ambient cure: 72 °F (4 - 6 h)

Hot cure: 140 °F (~1 - 2 h)

  • Higher curing temperature reduces the time needed before pressure can be released.
  • At the listed times the material is not fully cured; full cure develops after 1 to 2 weeks or with prolonged heat treatment.

Mixing guidance

  • Use a clean, dry plastic vessel for mixing.
  • Mix components A and B with a drill and paint-mixing rod at 300 to 600 1/min for 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Move the mixing rod horizontally and vertically to homogenize the full volume and keep air entrapment as low as possible.
  • Keep the components between 59 °F and 77 °F during mixing.
